A
friendly waitress named Megan was our server, she was upbeat, friendly and represented the establishment
well. Megan was knowledgeable about the menu items, made great recommendations and was (right-on) with regard to ensuring
our drinks were full, our food was served in a timely manor and made us feel right at home.
We felt welcome as soon as we walked through the door and that feeling did not leave as you find in most establishments (when
the meal comes the waitress goes) we felt welcome the entire time. I am sure that all the wait staff at Bar
Louie are great, and if Megan was any indication of what one might expect, you can count on great customer service.
Since customer service is everything (second only to the quality of the food) we were very impressed with the service
we received. I would go back again on customer service alone, but with such good food as well, it was almost a
bonus.

What was on the menu?
Bar Louie has a wide variety of food to choose from, the selection of items include, Main Dish Dinners, Pizza, Burgers,
Salads and more. You will not have a problem choosing dinner off the (non-complicated menu). If you are looking
for a Snack, Lunch or a Sit-Down Dinner, you can find it here. The choice of drinks is just as appealing since Bar Louie
has a well stocked Full Bar as well. If you want the ambiance of a upscale restaurant without the upscale cost, this
is the place for you.
What we had the
day we went:
1. I chose the Fish Taco's for dinner. Originally,
I had not considered how the two dish ideas (fish and taco's) would successfully mix, and I had considered this an adventurous
type meal. I thought it would be nice to try something different than the norm, but to my surprise it was awesome
(I think I found a new favorite). If you like fish dishes, then you will love this meal, (Three) Fish Taco'smade with
cabbage, chipotle mayo, mango salsa with black beans & rice (on the side). Price $10.99 plus drink (Iced Tea)
2. My wife (Roseanne), had the Southwest Burger, made with pepper jack cheese, guacamole
& jalapeno peppers. Each Burger comes with Coleslaw and Seasoned French Fries. If you have an appetite (bring
it), as this is one big serving of burger. Great Southwestern flavors and enough kick (heat) to make it worthy of the
Southwestern title, all without being so spicy you can't eat it comfortably. The Price was $8.99 plus drink (Iced
Tea)
3. Desert for Two was a Mile High Carrot Cake. This was the best Carrot
Cake I have "Ever" had, it was even better than the Carrot Cake I have had at home (my mom and wife will not be
happy), but is was. The cake was moist with great hints of carrot, topped with a creamy icing that was not overly sweet
(just the right combination of flavors). It was truly a great desert / ending to a fabulous dinner. Mile High
Carrot Cake for Two $7.99.
